A Great Dentist Found in NYC - Dr. Shadi Hosseini, DDS

  Dr. Shadi Hosseini, DDS

Dr. Shadi Hosseini is awesome! Her patients definitely come first in her book. She makes sure that every part of a patient's teeth is healthy, bright, and resilient. You would definitely learn something new about your teeth in the short time with her. She will also give you great tips on how to keep your teeth continuously healthy. She is truly a dedicated dentist. Her passion has led her to appear on ABC and Good Morning America to talk about good dental hygiene. Her office has an amazing 360 degree view in the Chrysler building. She truly loves what she does!

This is what I learned from Dr. Shadi Hosseini, during the 2 hours with her:

Sonicare is great! Because they are gentle on your gums.

She doesn't like dental hygienists. She cleans her own patients' teeth because she can evaluate each person's gums and mouth patterns. And if something is different, a correct diagnosis can be determined. How thorough!

Laser teeth whiting is better than white strips because your enamel is stripped for only one day.
Not 3, 5, or 7 days consecutively! Your teeth needs 24 hours to regenerate its enamel.

You should balance your teeth's PH by chewing gum or eating mints after having food.
This helps prevent tooth decay!

Valleys in your teeth can cause cavities!
Because food can get stuck there, sealants can help prevent this from happening.

She has cookie dough fluoride for your teeth cleaning session. Yum!

On Sunday, October 31, 2010, Livents attended Heidi Klum's VIP Halloween Party at Lavo on E. 58th Street and Park Avenue. Heidi Klum was dressed as a robotic superhero along with her husband, Seal. Her costume entailed a red and purple suit with intricate superhero details. Her face and upper body was covered in purple glittered paint, accessorized with a long red wig. Above all, her costume required her to walk on 2 feet stilts (making her 8' tall). Seal was dressed in a silver body suit, as the "Silver Surfer" with metallic paint all over his head and face. Kim Kardashian, John Legend, Russell Simmons, Ice-T, Coco, and many more were in attendance.

Livents was honored to attend this night of mystery, costume, and fun!

Beautiful People Reunited

On Friday, October 15, 2010, Livents hosted a potluck reunion. The event took place at Casa Mezcal, 86 Orchard in the Lower East Side. The private room upstairs was gorgeous. People brought exciting dishes that reflected culture and talent! Everything was delicious. The after-party then took place at CV, where the music and dancing got started. It was a great night to rekindle relationships.

More events to come. Especially during the holidays!
Stay tune.
