Livents: Be An Angel – Help Save The Children of Japan

New York City, New York – March 21, 2011 – In the last week and a half, Japan has witnessed a devastating 9.0 earthquake and tsunami that have left 21,000 people dead or missing. Now with a break of a nuclear disaster, Japan is left with limited water, food, and electricity. The destruction has deeply affected thousands of people, especially the children of Japan. With 100,000 displaced children, many have lost one or both their parents, siblings, relatives, and school friends in this catastrophe.

In effort to support these young victims, Lisa Li of Livents, have partnered up with UNICEF to produce the “Be An Angel” event, where 100% of all the donations will go towards Japan’s relief efforts. The fundraiser will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011, 7:00PM at the chic lounge of the Fitzpatrick Hotel on 687 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY, 10022. A tax-deductible donation of $25+ is requested at the event.

UNICEF is the United Nations Children's Fund that works for children's rights, their survival, their development, and their utmost protection. The organization has unrivaled expertise in helping children recover from crisis and trauma. For decades, Japan has been there for the world's children in their time of need, supporting UNICEF's lifesaving work. At Livents’ “Be An Angel” event, UNICEF is there for Japan's children.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Award Gala

JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION HONORED SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS, INGRID SAUNDERS JONES, AND JOSEPH R. PERELLA AT THE 2011 ANNUAL AWARDS GALA

The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) Annual Awards Dinner honored Sean “Diddy” Combs, Ingrid Saunders Jones and Joseph R. Perella on Monday, March 7, 2011. The dinner paid tribute to those who embody the humanitarian ideals of Jackie Robinson and have helped raise money for the Foundation.

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Award Gala was established in 1973 by Rachel Robinson. It is the nation’s premiere education and development program, providing four-year college scholarships, graduate school grants and extensive mentoring to academically distinguished minority students with financial need and records of leadership capacity.

Presenters included Russell Simmons (Founder, Def Jam Records), Ray McGuire (Head of Global Investment Banking, Citi) and Reverend Dr. Calvin Butts III (Pastor, Abyssinian Baptist Church).

The night was filled with gowns, tuxes, pretty flowers, light humor, and memories of Jackie Robinson. The gala was such an inspirational event. Awarded scholars from around the country flew into New York City for this special occasion.

On February 15, 2011, Lisa Li and Darlene Gonzalez of Livents, attended a networking event at Taj. This event was held by the Entrepreneurs And Professionals Network, which is a premiere Tri-State networking group founded by Maggie & Hubert Delany. Dr. Shadi Hosseini is awesome! Her patients definitely come first in her book. She makes sure that every part of a patient's teeth is healthy, bright, and resilient. She doesn't like dental hygienists. She cleans her own patients' teeth because she can evaluate each person's gums and mouth patterns. And if something is different, a correct diagnosis can be determined. How thorough!

You should balance your teeth's PH by chewing gum or eating mints after having food.
This helps prevent tooth decay!

Livents, a premiere lifestyle firm is proud to announce yet another successful event for their client’s birthday party held at one of the tallest lounges in New York City. The party was highly organized from start to finish by Livents. They arranged the high-end venue, birthday cake, invitations, entertainment, and personal styling (with HUGO BOSS & Ted Baker) for their client. These two ladies give true meaning to hiring an event planner! They made sure that the guest of honor had nothing to worry about except to celebrate his birthday and have a great time with his friends. Livents took the initiative to pick out a delectable cake to fit everyone’s taste buds and a Tahitian dancer for everyone’s entertainment. Both ladies of Livents stayed on-site to make sure that the guests were having a good time and that every detail of the party was under control. Nevertheless, the turnout was wonderful everyone had a great time the guest all ended the night with a smile.

It is quite the honor for Lisa Li to hear amazing feedback from the many guests that attended the party. This is just a few birthday events they have accomplished with many more to come and the presentation only gets better and better each time.

UGG F/W '11 Luxe Collection

On Wednesday, March 2, 2011, Livents - Lisa Li had the pleasure of attending the UGG Collection Launch Party at RDV in New York City. This was a private launch of the brand's collection.

Needless to say, the collection was absolutely fabulous. Known for their Australian sheepskin flat boots, their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection was quite a surprise. It combined comfort and fashion by adding thick heels, wedges, buckles, and intricate details to their signature brand. Bags, clutches, boots, and shoes were displayed and modeled by live mannequins. This was the first collection ever designed and manufactured in Italy. With the use of rich suedes, leathers, and furs, the collection epitomizes the term "luxury goods."

UGG has truly expanded their brand through the collection's design and thoughtfulness.
