Lisa Li is a resident of New York City, NY. Originally from San Francisco, CA, she graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Interior Design and a minor in History of Art. She worked as an interior designer for Mancini Duffy, a corporate design firm in New York City. In San Francisco, she started YouLiveAndYouLearn.org, a California non-profit public benefit organization and also worked as a property asset manager, overseeing properties valued collectively at $1.5 million. Her organization helps aspiring designers put on runway shows as a way to showcase their creative talent. Her objective is to expand the field of appreciation for fashion, design, and the arts. The runway series have taken place across the country and hopefully one day, around the world.
Through her experience in coordinating runway shows, she has gained clients such as: the Miss Asian America Pageant, the director of Clear Channel Radio, the SACHIKA Twins, and many more. She has been interviewed by Clear Channel Radio, the San Francisco Examiner newspaper, En La Escena television network, magazines, blogs, and much more. Her experiences helped her create a platform for her to start Livents.
