POST PRESS RELEASE
SUCCESS: Cupid’s Trunk Show & Belly Dancing Event
New York City, New York – Livents produced a trunk show and belly dancing event on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, 7:00PM at Haven on 244 E. 51st Street, New York, NY, 10022. The event was a success that brought together New Yorkers from various backgrounds and fields. It was a night of dancing, shopping, and mingling.
The belly dancer, Samantha Diaz, was dressed in an elaborate Middle Eastern outfit with a large pair of fushia-colored wings. She is one of New York’s acclaimed performers, who teaches and performs throughout the country. Her movements and dance energized the party. Additionally, she taught guests something new about the Middle Eastern culture. Private lessons are available upon request. For more information, contact Samantha at 718.578.2730 or email her at: Samantha@samanthadance.com.
The trunk show illustrated some of New York's aspiring designers, stylists, and beauty consultants. This included designs/products of Viva Aviva, Stella Dot, Look For The Ant, and Nu Skin. Items were available on-site for purchase. The guests are able to meet the individuals and feel the items first-hand.

Photographer: Jen DelCastillo
Born in New York City, Jennifer has been studying photography for 15 years. She began her studies at the High School of Art and Design and continued at Herbert H. Lehman College receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography. Professionally, Jen began her career working in a variety of positions: as a photo lab manager, digital technician, retouch-er, processor, graphic designer and as a photographers assistant. She believes this experience helped her become the photographer she is today, dedicated, knowledgeable, experienced, and creative. She believes that honing your craft gives you complete creative freedom, because with experience, your equipment becomes instinctual, leaving the photographer to focus on what's really important, the beautiful interactions and moments that are happening. Jennifer started her career as a photographer over 10 years ago shooting concerts and musical artists. She continued on shooting portraiture, still life, and photojournalism for stock agencies and in 2006 began shooting for some of the city's top wedding studios. In 2009, Jennifer began focusing on the work of her own creatively driven studio, d-mulsion photography where she produces event photography and portraiture. This year, she began to use her photography as a tool to support amazing non-profits throughout the city and is looking forward to the years to come of meeting amazing people and producing great photography to showcase her clients. Her photographic experience includes Editorial, Event, Fashion, Photojournalism and Portraiture.
